NETRESULTS Tennis Jr “Jam Weeks”

Just a glimpse at all the fun at the NETRESULTS Summer Jr “Jam Week” Camp program that runs from June 21st – Sept 3rd. The program is divided into a Developmental Camp daily (9 am-noon) that hosts jr players that are still developing skill sets to help establish a foundation for success. We host a High Performance Camp (1-4 pm) daily that provides a higher level of training as jr players begin to establish match play strategies, weapon development and offensive and defensive skills. All programs are held at Waldstein Park, located in Cleveland Circle between Beacon St and Dean Rd in Brookline.

#2 NETRESULTS Palm Beach Head Professional Dejan Minic takes time to chat with world’s former #1 Mats Wilander. Wilander was in town training at Seaview Tennis Center for his match with John McEnroe as part of the 2010 Delray International Championships in March. Mats love our courts and practices there each time he’s in town.

#3 NETRESULTS Palm Beach Asst Pro Goran Dragicevic, former ATP top 100 doubles player takes a time out from a recent exhibition hosted by Larry King in Tampa last December. The twins only happened to be ATP world’s #1 doubles team, Bob and Mike Bryan. Can you tell which is which?

#4 NETRESULTS Director David MacBurnie gets to “hang out” with Mats Wilander during his last visit to Palm Beach. One of David’s favorite players, Mats won 7 Grand Slam titles and was world’s #1 in 1988…so cool.

NETRESULTS on Court: USTA Results

USTA ATLANTIC COAST CUP
Team New England Champs

The Atlantic Coast Cup Championships were recently completed in Connecticut early this month. The USTA national team competition is made up of the top Men’s 45 players in New England, Eastern, Mid Atlantic and the Middle States vying for the coveted championship.

Team New England won back the title they won in 2007 with an upset victory over the powerhouse Mid Atlantic states. David MacBurnie secured the victory with the deciding match over a top 5 national player in straight sets at #2 . The New England team went on to beat the Middle States and a recorded a resounding victory over their rivals, the Eastern States, 6-1. The win secured New England their 3rd title in the last 5 years….maybe a dynasty in the works.

USTA NEW ENGLAND Men’s 50 Sectional Championships

David MacBurnie recently won the Men’s 50 New England Sectional Singles championship held at the Concord Country Club in August. MacBurnie seeded 1st, defeated former US #1 Phil Kadesch in the semis and then bested #2 Wade Frame in the finals (shown here).
