Play the Clay in the Heart of Brookline

Considered one of the hidden jewels of Greater Boston, Amory Park Tennis Center is undergoing a full reconstruction in 2025 with a Grand Opening set for Spring 2026.

The facility features six of the finest public clay courts, opening mid-April through late October. Courts are available daily from 7:30 AM until sunset.

Programs & Events

Adult UTR Events & Drop-In Round Robins – competitive play for the community and beyond.
Adult Training Programs (all levels) – led by STB Tennis, including:
- Power Hour: high-energy sessions focused on cardio, technical growth, and fun.
- Live Ball – Rally Nites: intermediate & advanced players sharpen strategy, positioning, and shot selection.
- Point Play: 90-minute doubles format emphasizing situational play and competition.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons available year-round.

Amenities

Full-service pro shop with retail, racquet stringing/repairs, and tennis balls.
Season passes for residents & non-residents, plus convenient daily court fees.

Power Hour
Our most popular program, Power Hour is built for players who want a fast, high-energy workout before moving on with their day. Each session blends high-cardio drills with skill development and game-based point play to replicate real match situations.

Live Ball Programs
We’ve expanded our menu with new “Live Ball” formats designed to keep you moving and competing:

Point Play – 90 minutes of high-cardio, situational point play in a competitive setting.
Rally Nites – doubles match-play training for intermediate and advanced players, focusing on strategy, offense/defense, formations, and shot selection.
Morning Rally & Friday Night Shootouts – energetic match-play sessions to kickstart your morning or close your week in style.

Match Play Opportunities

UTR Tournament Play – structured tournament play.
Weekend Drop-In Round Robins at Amory Park – open, community-based match play for all.

Coming in 2026: Match Play
This brand-new Train & Play program combines training with a pre-scheduled weekly match at your level. By playing at set times and locations, players can immediately put their training into practice and track their progress week by week. The best part…it’s FREE for all current registrants.

Junior Training Options

Smash Tennis Boston runs a vibrant year-round program with options for all ages and levels-from first time players to tournament competitors.

Young Stars (ages 4–7) – fun, engaging introduction to tennis.
Junior Development & High Performance – progressive training for ages 8–16, including ATP 2 training for advanced juniors (ages 12–16).
Track Record of Success – NETRESULTS has been developing junior players since 2006, helping stock Brookline High School’s boys and girls teams with homegrown talent.

Junior Summer “Jam Week” Camps

Our signature summer program draws nearly 600 juniors over 12 weeks each season. Camps run across 7 courts and are carefully structured by age and ball level for the right mix of fun and development:

Red Ball (ages 4–7)
Orange Ball (ages 9–11)
Green Dot (ages 10–12)
Yellow Ball (ages 13–16)

Flexible Scheduling: morning half-day, afternoon half-day, or full-day training options.

Camp Highlights:

Daily dynamic warm-up and live pro demo—showing kids what they’ll learn that day.
Play to Learn philosophy—competition starts right away, scaled to level.
Rotating competition formats: singles round robin, doubles round robin, tournament draws, and a Davis Cup finale.
Personal evaluation sheet for every player plus daily prizes.
