David MacBurnie, USPTANETRESULTS Photo 2016

.Founder of NETRESULTS Tennis, MacBurnie has been directing high end tennis operations beginning in 1982 at the Florida Yacht Club (Jacksonville, FL). In 1990 he directed the tennis operations at the Pompano Beach Tennis Center, facilitating programming for over 65,000 members / visitors and managed 28 adult tennis teams. In 2002 he began NETRESULTS and consulted with the Tennis Programs of Harvard to revamp their curriculum and to inject a new dynamic style of instruction as our first client. Currently providing tennis managerial services to the town of Brookline for over 3,400 families at three facilities. NETRESULTS past clients include the town of Palm Beach, FL and a 41 court operation Tampa Tennis at HCC in Tampa Bay, FL. At their peak 1n 2017, NETRESULTS Tennis provided services to over 7,100 families on the east coast. David is a certified USPTA Elite Professional since 1986, a USTA High Performance Coach and former top 10 nationally ranked player. MacBurnie played collegiality tor Rollins College (Winter Park, FL). David was a USTA National 35’s Team Champion (Florida), a 5 time Men’s 45’s Atlantic Coast Cup Team Champion (NE) and a 4 time New England Men’s 50/60 Sectional singles champion.

Tommy Lay (Jr Head Professional)

Originally from Cambodia, Tommy moved to the US to further his education. Along the way Tommy developed passion for tennis and fell in love with the game. During High School he played the USTA Circuit 18’s winning the USTA Mayors Cup Championship in 2000. Tommy played #2 at University of Massachusetts Boston for three years, competing on the USTA professional circuit for another two years.Tommy became a volunteer with Tenacity and the USTA 10 and under program in 2000, certified in 2001.  Tommy became head tennis pro with Tenacity for Summer/School year programs for 8 years and Senior tennis pro at Harvard Tennis Academy for three years.Tommy has been with NETRESULTS serving as Director of Jr Developmental summer program and a senior staff professional throughout the year.Tommy enjoys working with all levels of juniors, specializing in the Developmental program with significant success. His passion as a teaching pro is to develop young players, instilling excitement his in his students in hopes of developing a champion player in the future. Tommy is excited to continue his relationship with NETRESULTS Tennis in 2019 and many more years to come striving to provide the best tennis experience to players of all ages in Brookline.

Nicola Bacella (Amory Head Professional)

My name is Nicolás Bacella from Argentina. I am a graduate student at Saint Leo University.  I studied Management for my undergraduate and am currently doing Data Analytics for my masters. I currently play spot #3 singles and #2 doubles for the Saint Leo Tennis team (Currently ranked #1 in the country in D2).  In the past, I have gotten 2 ATP points in singles and 6 in doubles. I have been teaching tennis (all levels and ages) for more than five years in places such as Buenos Aires (Arg), Norwalk, Tampa, and New Hampshire. My passion is to see the improvements that my students make day by day. I love new challenges, and I’m looking forward to having a great summer at Amory!

Francisco Bastias (Amory Head Professional)

Francisco hails from Argentina and currently currently plays #3 singles and #2 doubles for the Utah Utes D1 (Currently ranked #17 in the the US). Fran has enjoyed one of the finest team and individual seasons in Utah history. Utah won the PAC 12 conference for the first time and recently lost in the NCAA round of 32 to North Carolina. Fran played #2 as a freshman for U of Miami in 2019 and was named ACC Rookie of the Year. Francisco is a former top 60 in the world as a junior and he will be joining NETRESULTS for the 3rd summer and can’t wait to get back to Brookline.

 

David Rieme (Seasonal Staff)

David Rieme, originally from France, came in the US to find a balance between school and tennis, and he felt it was the best decision of his life. Currently playing #1 singles and #2 doubles at Auburn University at Montgomery, he’s fallen in love with American college tennis. His passion has him ranked #7 in doubles and #53 in singles in the nation earning many conference awards. David is excited to bring to Brookline his experience of competition and also the his love of being on a tennis court. He feels tennis is a sport that requires passion and patience and looks forward to sharing this with the community.

Bastien Rieme (Seasonal Staff)

My name is Bastien Rieme I come From Sion, Switzerland, I decided to come in the united states after getting my engineering bachelor in France, while I was doing it I was playing tennis for the university team of Grenoble, our best result was making the final of the French university championship. I arrived in the USA in August 2022. I’m currently playing in Barry university  #5 singles and #2 doubles. Barry University is ranked number 1 in the nation in division 2. We won the national tournament the last two years and hopefully get the third one this year. 

Leonardo Sprovieri (Seasonal Staff)

Leonardo Sprovieri comes to us from Corrientes, Argentina via Indiana Wesleyan University. The 22 yr. old senior currently plays #3 singles and #1 doubles for the #2 team in the US NAIA. Currently studying Business with an orientation in Marketing, Leonardo played professionally on the ATP tour around South America and Europe. Leonardo has experience teaching tennis in Argentina and North Carolina, during the summers. He is excited to be in Newton to share all the experiences he’s enjoyed and to keep the learning moving in the right direction.

Juan Pablo Cenoz (Seasonal Staff)

Juan Pablo Cenoz is a professional tennis player from Corrientes, Argentina. Currently, he is studying and finishing his major in Finance while being a part of the University of North Florida men’s tennis team. JP is also looking forward to pursuing his MBA. As a coach, JP is committed to taking his players to the next level and maintains a high level of professionalism in his coaching approach. He is excited to begin his second summer working at NetResults. As a player, JP has traveled all over the world and achieved his first ATP point at the age of 17. His best ATP ranking was 1657 in singles and he is currently ranked 1813 in doubles. With his wealth of experience in the sport, JP brings a unique perspective to his coaching that helps his players achieve their goals on and off the court.

Eddy Leardini (Seasonal Staff)

Originally from Verona, Italy, Eddy moved to the United States to play Division I tennis collegiality at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During his time in college, Eddy consistently faced numerous top #10 division schools in the US, reaching wins over top #50 ranked teams in doubles. During his years before going to college, Eddy won several titles at a national level and was also the national champion in Italy at the age of 12. Eddy comes with more than eight years of experience teaching internationally, including positions as a coach, hitting pro, and health fitness instructor in several tennis academies in Verona, country clubs in Tulsa, and a private club in Cape Cod. In addition, Eddy has a solid background in creating conditioning programs and workouts based on tennis principles and bio mechanics. He is also an Italian Tennis Federation First Level Coach, which qualifies him for the teaching of padel and beach tennis. Eddy is highly thrilled to contribute to the growth and quality of the NETRESULTS program and to work with the Brookline community in the city of Boston
