The town has brought in a new tennis professional to overhaul the program. Dejan Minic, a former Yugoslavian national champion and coach, took over in June and has brought international training and experience. Minic has introduced power hour and cardio tennis classes for adults. He has added clinics ,and is working to form doubles and mixed doubles teams to compete in the Palm Tennis League and increase league play at night.
