Amory Tennis Center 2024

Considered one of the hidden jewels in the Greater Boston area, Amory Park Tennis Center boasts of six of the finest clay courts for public consumption. The facility opens mid April and operates through the end of October. Early in the season facility play begins at 9 am while we work through the cool spring temperatures and once into the month of June, Amory opens for 7:30 am action. Sunset marks the closing daily, as fall draws closer and darkness sets in earlier so does the closing times. STB squeezes as much tennis possible each season, well over six months of action. Amory is one of the few clay facilities that has playable courts following a downpour, a tribute to the condition the courts and how they are maintained daily.
Amory plays host to adult spring league tennis, weekend adult drop in round robins and large contingent of community and greater Boston tennis fanatics. STB hosts a full menu of adult training programs for all levels. The Power Hour program seeks to accomplish three core goals each hour; high cardio, technical growth and a whole lot of fun for our players. The "Live Ball" offerings consist of Rally Nites for intermediate and advanced levels with a focus on positioning, offense/defense, formation and shot selection to enhance winning percentages. Power 90's is a 90 minute program that operates in a high cardio fashion that focuses on situational play in a competitive format. Private lessons are offered for as well as semi privates and the "three and me" option.
We offer a full service pro shop including retail, racquet repair services and tennis balls for sale. Season pass cards are available for residents and non residents in addition to daily court fees. The Tennis Center has a vibrant community feel located in beautiful Amory Park and operates at high capacity. PLAY THE CLAY!

Adult Training Options

The NETRESULTS Power Hour programs are the most popular training programs. The PH program is designed for the player that needs to get their workout in and move on to the next task of the day. The instructional dynamic is high cardio integrated within a series of skill building drills that are combined with a “games based” point play to replicate point play.
We’ve added a new concept to our menu in the form of “Live Ball” training including Power 90’s and Rally Nites, Morning Rally and Friday Nite Shootouts. Power 90’s consist of a high cardio, situational point play format rolled in a competitive environment for 90 minutes.
Doubles match play training continues in the form of Rally Nites for advanced and intermediate players. The focus of Rally Nites is to provide our players with the strategies of offensive and defensive play, formations and shot selection to allow our players the benefit of the experiences of our instructional team. Additional match play opportunities consist of spring team ladies league and the daily Drop In round robin program hosted at Amory Park.
2024 will unveil a new train and play program, Power Play. When registering for a cycle, players will have the option of adding a pre-scheduled weekly match within each player’s level to be played at a predetermined time and location by the players. We feel confident the progressions our players will make will be substantial, enabling players to implement what they learn weekly and see the benefits of their training efforts.

Junior Training Options

Smash Tennis Boston maintains a vibrant annual junior program that includes Jr Development and High Performance programs from beginners to tournament players that includes Young Star options for 4-7 yr olds thru ATP 2 training for jrs 12-16 yr olds. NETRESULTS has been developing junior players since 2006 and has played a significant role in the stocking of the Brookline High's boys and girls teams. STB offers a high quality Junior Summer "Jam Week" Camp program that facilitates close to 1,000 during the 12 week program. Camp includes option for morning and afternoon half day camps along with a full day option for those looking for all day training. The camp is divided amongst 7 courts, each court has it's own level of experience. Red ball for the 4-7 yr olds, orange balls for the 9-11 yr olds, green dot for the 10-12 yr olds and yellow ball for the 13-16 yr olds makes for a unique blend of levels all operating at the same time. The camp operates under a "Play to Learn" mantra, getting the kids right into level appropriate competitions. Each day the competitions rotate from singles round robin, doubles round robin, singles tournament draw and culminates with a team Davis Cup. Each day begins with a dynamic warmup followed by a pro live demo that allows us to show he kids what we are looking to achieve each day, a picture is worth a 1,000 words. Each junior receives a personal evaluation sheet to take home along with prizes for the competitions daily. "Jam Week" Camps are STB's best program, best value with the goal of instilling passion in each and everyone of our junior players.
